Although I'm a bit confused on who declares it as such, I am happy that it is.

Hitchcock was a deliberate and calculated authorial voice in the realm of cinema that had influenced many great movie makers and left strong visual imprints on the collective human subconscious, more than one may like to admit and more than most could even recognize.
