The Macabre Art of Lee Brown Coye

Artist Lee Brown Coye was a Syracuse, NY native who was best known for his fantasy and horror illustrations books and magazines.

 One of his most well-known series was his H. P. Lovecraft collection- 'Three Tales of Horror'.

He was awarded the World Fantasy Award for Best Artist in 1975, 1976, and 1978.
Many of his illustrations were found in Arkham House Books, ‘Fantastic Stories’, 'Weird Tales', 'Fantastic' and 'Amazing' magazines.
